Landscdaping refers to any activity that modifies the visible features of an area of land, including:

1. Living elements, such as flora or fauna; or what is commonly referred to as gardening, the art and craft of growing plants with a goal of creating a beautiful  environment within the landscape.
2. Natural elements such as landforms, terrain shape and elevation, or bodies of water;
3. Human elements such as structures, buildings, fences or other material objects created and/or installed by humans; and
4. Abstract elements such as the weather and lighting conditions.

Landscaping is both science and art, and requires good observation and design skills. A good landscaper understands the elements of nature and construction, and blends them accordingly.
Front Gardens
Front gardens very much vary in size and can be designed and landscaped accordingly. Low maintenance is a priority for most and this can be achieved, along with adding colour and style to your front garden. We often landscape front gardens when renewing your drive. Decking
Decking is very versatile. It can laid to form many types of pattern, it can be suspended over an area and different levels can be created easily. Hardwood or pressure-treated softwood timber can be used, both with a life-span exceeding 20 years. and comes either grooved or plain. Various maintenance issues apply to the different types of decking.
Fencing / Trellising

We undertake all types of fencing from traditional garden fencing to ranch-style fencing, chainlink and rabbit netting / wire fencing. Trellising comes in a variety of shapes and sizes, and can made to order.
Gates

The gates we install vary greatly, from softwood garden gates to field gates to hardwood driveway gates.  Most gates are bespoke, so please contact us for more details.
Gravel Gardens
These are becoming more and more popular as decorative features, mostly to reduce maintenance. We use 'Plantex' weed-guard membrane beneath all gravels, to ensure maximum protection against weed growth. And can plant areas and add features, rocks, water features etc. to create any style you choose.
Hot Tubs / Spa Baths
These have become increasingly popular over the last few years and range from 1-2 seater versions to 8-seaters with MP3 players, speakers, lights and champagne coolers.
Lighting
Lighting your home and garden makes an enormous difference. By adding lighting, the garden can be utilised at night and adds ambience and interest as you look out the windows at night (especially if you have a conservatory).
Paths
We can create many styles of path and use a large variety of materials. Our photos show a small collection of ideas.
Patios
Most of our customers choose to have natural stone slabs laid, due to the many advantages they have over concrete slabs. We offer a large range of colours and patterns, including circles and stars. All slabs are laid on a bed of mortar, cut to size where necessary and pointed between using Cementone jointing compound. Pergolas / Arches
Pergolas and arches can make a huge difference to the overall feel of a garden. They can be used to add height, focus or extra detail to an otherwise 'flat' garden. They can be either wooden or metal, contemporary or traditional and truly add to the garden.
Planting
Planting is the crucial element of all gardens. We can design, plan and plant new areas/beds, from shrub borders to herb gardens to hedging, pots and much more. Explore our knowledge of plants to create your perfect garden.
Play Areas
We offer a huge range of play equipment from play-houses to sand pits to slides, swings to outdoor games etc. We can transform part of your garden into a kids zone, or we can landscape an entire play area.
Rockeries
Rockeries can be made to fit any area and can be made up of a variety of rock and plant types to create many different styles. We can either rejuvenate an existing rockery or create an entirely new one.
Turfing
We can turf any size area necessary and complete all preparatory work, in terms of removing existing lawns, clearing the site, levelling, grading and raking of the soil. We can lay various grades of turf from broadleaf to fine ornamental lawns. We can even install artificial grass!
Walling / Retainers
We can build small ornamental walls through to structural retaining walls, using a variety of materials from bricks, blocks or timber, or a combination.
Water Features / Ponds
There are a large variety of water features available today. They range from the modern stainless steel types, to natural stone monoliths, mill-stones, pebble types, etc. All have an underlying sump and pump, which is covered over by gravel or stones making it completely safe for children. Ponds also vary greatly in their styles.
